Cheech And Chong to say their Goodbye’s in Final Movie

“Dave’s not here man,” the original stoners have one final hurrah in a new trailer for their Documentary ‘Cheech & Chong’s Final Movie’

The Comedy Duo have been blazing up audiences since the 70s.

Their dill-witted humour and dopey, yet loveable stage personas made them one of the primary comedic forces throughout the 70s and 80s.

Cheech & Chong

And now decades later, we may finally be saying goodbye to the lovable stoners as they depart from our screens.

The trailer for their swan song documentary shows Cheech Marin, 78, and Tommy Chong, 86, embarking on one last adventure, proving that their comedic chemistry remains as potent as ever despite their advancing years.

The legendary duo, whose counterculture comedy revolutionized the genre with classics like ‘Up in Smoke’ (1978) and ‘Nice Dreams’ (1981), appear to be passing the torch to a new generation in this Comedy-Documentary.

Filmmaker and director David Bushell will be stepping into the hot seat, making his feature-length directorial debut.

Although much time has passed since Cheech & Chong first graced our screens, they still seem to be the same old characters.

Even with the masses of societal change that has happened in their long years of comedy icons.

And with legalization sweeping across America, their once-controversial comedy now seems prophetic.

An ironic yet welcome stance from the general public as we welcome the duo back to the silver screen.

After over fifty years of partnership, this farewell tour promises to deliver nostalgic callbacks alongside fresh material, serving as both a celebration and a heartfelt goodbye to their dedicated fanbase.

Although it may not be the typical comedy format most fans are used to, a documentary focusing on their lives and careers as performers is a bittersweet goodbye.

So grab the filters , grab the papers, grab the snacks and check out the trailer below.
