Donald Trump questions legitimacy of Tom DeLonge’s UFO footage

Over the past week, the Pentagon released some interesting footage containing what could be proof of extra-terrestrial existence. Of course, most of us are so engrossed in coronavirus stuff that we don’t blame you if you completely missed it.

Former Blink-182 guitarist, Tom DeLonge, has devoted the last few years to collecting supposed UFO footage and the Pentagon confirmed the authenticity of some of it this week. However, President of the United States Donald Trump has now weighed in, questioning the videos and their legitimacy.

The Pentagon has confirmed the authenticity of the UFO videos published by Tom DeLonge though Donald Trump doubts that they’re real.

The three videos were initially published by DeLonge’s research institute, To The Stars. The Pentagon then republished the videos this week, and whilst this doesn’t actually confirm the existence of aliens, it confirms that DeLonge’s videos themselves are 100% authentic and not tampered with. The Pentagon stated that they published the videos to:

“Clear up any misconceptions by the public on whether or not the footage that has been circulating was real or whether or not there is more to the videos.”

However, the President still remains sceptical and he expressed his concerns in an Oval Office interview.

“I just wonder if it’s real…That’s a hell of a video,” he said.

This isn’t the first time that Trump has expressed his disbelief in the existence of aliens. When Trump was asked about rising reports of unknown aircraft by U.S. Navy pilots, he responded with:

“People are saying they’re seeing UFOs. Do I believe it? Not particularly.”

DeLonge has been vigorously studying all things UFO since his departure from Blink-182 in 2016. Trump’s opinions aren’t about to discourage him. Speaking in a recent interview with Radio.com, DeLonge described:

“The UFO subject, lifeforms coming here, interacting with our world, and our government scurrying around, trying to figure it out and deal with it, is going to, when it comes out, and it is, is going to change the way people think about themselves, the beliefs systems that they have, religion, geopolitical order, technology that can give clean running water and clean energy.

“All these things, all these massively, massively transformation technologies and ideas will come from it,” he continued. “And it’s the only subject, there’s no other subject that will bring the whole world together except for this one, and that’s why I believe in it so much.”
