Stormzy cancels 2022 Australian tour and drops out of Spilt Milk

Stormzy cancels his forthcoming Aussie tour and headlining performances for Spilt Milk festival, due to “circumstances beyond my control.”

Stormzy has cancelled his long-awaited Australian tour dates, which were finally set to take place toward the end of this year, after lengthy postponements. As part of his Heavy Is The Head World Tour, the UK rapper was gearing up to perform shows across NSW, VIC and SA.

Additionally, he was set to be the headliner for Split Milk 2022, but unfortunately, the rapper has announced through a statement released by festival organisers that he has had to withdraw from international commitments for the remainder of this year.

As stated by Stormzy, “It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to inform you guys that due to circumstances beyond my control, I must cancel international commitments for the remainder of the year which includes my Australian and New Zealand tour.”

He added, “You guys have waited so patiently and I am so sorry that this has to happen after all these ups and downs. I love you guys and I promise I will be back as soon as I can with a show that’s bigger and better than ever.”
