With Bluesfest putting on one of its largest lineups to date next April, it was only a matter of time before some massive sideshows started to roll out. So to kick it off, both George Benson and Brandi Carlile have announced that Bluesfest won’t be their only stop off when returning to our humble shores.
Both acts will be taking their performances to Melbourne and Sydney before rocking Byron Bay for Bluesfest.
The Sideshows for next year’s Bluesfest have started to roll in! George Benson and Brandi Carlile have announced shows in both Sydney and Melbourne in the lead up to the festival.
While not extensive tours of our country, the shows look to be quite action packed. Jazz guitar icon George Benson will be taking the theatrical route, booking out the State Theatre and Palais Theatre in Sydney and Melbourne respectively. These venues will give his iconic jazz and soul catalogue the grand setting it deserves.
The mammoth blues & roots celebration is boasting an unparalleled lineup in 2020. Featuring Australia’s adopted son John Butler, The Cat Empire and Crowded House among others, the fest is set to blow the top off of Byron Bay next April.
Tickets for both shows go on sale next Monday, September 30th.
