David Byrne is the lead singer, primary songwriter and guitarist for Talking Heads who formed in 1975. He has released eight studio albums with Talking Heads and a further eight solo albums, as well as two collaborative albums with Brian Eno and one with St. Vincent.
Byrne has also worked in film, photography, opera, fiction, and non-fiction. He has received an Academy Award, five Grammy Awards, and Golden Globe Awards, and he is an inductee to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2002.
