Girl and Girl – Hello

Our fav four-piece garage rock band Girl and Girl announce their debut album “Call A Doctor” out on May 24.  They’ve also released the lead single and video “Hello,” giving a sneak peek into what’s coming… by the sounds, a perfect dose of indie – punk rock at its best.

CXLOE – No Service

Australian pop sensation CXLOE  is dropping her debut album, “Shiny New Thing,” on May 17. Alongside the announcement is the release of the brand-new single, ‘No Service,’ a catchy mix of pop and electronica. The song shares CXLOE’s experiences in LA, expressing the ups and downs of finding balance and comfort in a new place. It’s like a musical journey through life’s twists and turns!

POL – Blue Moon Sketches

21 year old French indie pop-rock singer-songwriter POL has releasing his first project – a 6-track EP crafted entirely in his home studio. With a mix of sounds (lo-fi bedroom, 80s Manchester, electric indie), POL shares the ups and downs of a protagonist dealing with nostalgia and heartache in daily life.

Don’t miss the standout track, “Blue Moon Night Girl,” where POL dives into the realm of an uncertain love story. The DIY-produced sound features vintage guitars and hybrid drums, creating a vibe you won’t want to miss!

Hollow Coves – See You Soon

Hollow Coves are keeping the anticipation high for their upcoming album “Nothing To Lose” with a new treat – the single ‘See You Soon.’ Following the magic of ‘Photographs,’ this one’s a heartfelt journey showcasing the duo’s amazing teamwork. Merryn Jean – DOG BEACH

Merryn Jeann drops her debut full-length album, “DOG BEACH,” via Rescue + Return Records. The ten-track wonder, produced by Rob Ellis, blends classical and contemporary elements, featuring a star-studded lineup. The focus single, ‘THANK GOD FOR ASTROLOGY!,’ adds a tongue-in-cheek delight to the mix. The album is a captivating blend of ’90s and early 2000s sounds, showcasing her storytelling and experimentation. Despite being her first full-length release, Merryn has a rich history, including a self-titled debut mini-LP and collaborations with OOSO and Byron Bay’s Tora.

Olivia Frances – Make Myself Like You

Departing from the typical love or breakup song, Nashville folk-pop artist Olivia Frances’ new track explores the less common theme of attraction. Olivia reflects on why feelings vary and acknowledges when a relationship isn’t going anywhere. This stripped-down, raw version of Olivia shines with captivating vocals and keen lyrics, reminiscent of Joni Mitchell, Carole King, and Kacey Musgraves.

Hydra Fashion Week – Total Free Fall

Hydra Fashion Week, led by Charlie Teitelbaum, drops a vibrant single and video, ‘Total Freefall,’ announcing their debut album, “Serpent Season One,” out on April 4. Recorded at Loveshack and Ritzland Studios, the track blends no-wave, jazz, punk, and pop, paying tribute to the creative process. Bored  at My Grandmas House – Show and Tell

Leeds-based artist Amber Strawbridge, known as Bored at My Grandmas House, is set to release her debut album, “Show & Tell,” on June 7th via CLUE Records / EMI North. Following her acclaimed EP “Sometimes I Forget You’re Human Too,” Amber unveils the title track, ‘Show & Tell,’ reminiscent of Soccer Mommy and Alvvays.

The song delves into the complexities of trust and self-protection, with Amber describing it as a tongue-in-cheek take on her guarded nature. The album, exploring themes of anxiety, friendship, love, mental health, and more, revolves around the central theme of connection. Amber shares that the album is a personal journey of understanding and processing her emotions, touching on topics like the power of queer love, humanity’s ‘delusions of grandeur,’ reflection, and purpose. “Show & Tell” promises to maintain Amber’s pop sensibilities while addressing profound subjects.
