Grinspoon's Phil Jamieson announces an intimate 'Nobody Else' tour

Phil Jamieson, is gearing up to hit stages across Australia in January 2024 for his Nobody Else Tour.

The tour promises an intimate, stripped-down experience, showcasing Jamieson’s latest solo endeavour, “Somebody Else.” Armed with just his raw vocals and captivating tunes, Jamieson will traverse familiar and new locations in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, and Tasmania, including a special performance at Shoalhaven’s Milton Theatre.

Jamieson’s album, “Somebody Else,” marks a significant shift in his musical journey. It artfully weaves together his Grinspoon roots with a fresh blend of rock and pop sensibilities. Collaborating with talents like Oscar Dawson from Holy Holy, along with Davey Lane, Jordan Power, and Ben Rosen, Jamieson brought his solo vision to life.

Known for his extensive touring, 2023 saw Jamieson taking the stage solo and as part of the White Album concert tour alongside Chris Cheney, Tim Rogers, and Josh Pyke. He’ll cap off the year with a sold-out national Grinspoon tour supported by Private Function before diving into the more intimate setting of the Nobody Else Tour.

Fans can expect a setlist with reimagined versions of familiar tunes, and perhaps a few deep cuts from Jamieson’s Grinspoon days. He’s also looking forward to testing out some fresh material for his next solo project. With over half a million in sales, multiple Top Ten charting albums, ARIA Award wins and nominations, and a string of iconic festival appearances, Grinspoon’s legacy is firmly etched in Australian music history. Jamieson’s evolution as a performer and songwriter, culminating in his role as St. Jimmy in the Australian production of “American Idiot,” underscores his versatility and enduring impact.
