New horror film, Terrifier 2 is reportedly causing viewers to puke and pass out. Theatres are now handing out vomit bags to audiences.
A sequel for Damien Leone’s 2016 horror film, Terrifier has arrived, just in time for Halloween. Launched across American theatres earlier this month, Terrifier 2 has left hoards of viewers completely shaken to their very core.
According to several sources and social media posts, many audience members have thrown up, passed out, or simply left the cinema in complete shock. This has reportedly led to theatres handing out sick backs to patrons during screenings of the movie.
“My friend passed out and the theater called an ambulance. Highly recommended,” stated one fan via Twitter. Another viewer shared on the platform, “I was about to cry and throw up. Demented stuff #Terrifier2.”
Speaking of the film’s impact, writer/director Damien Leone has said, “listen, I would have loved to have a couple of walk-outs, I think that’s sort of a badge of honor because it is an intense movie. I don’t want people fainting, getting hurt during the movie. But it’s surreal. Here’s the thing, it’s called Terrifier 2, you should probably see Terrifier 1 before you jump into this one. If you see Terrifier 1, you’d know what you’re getting into.”
