The highly anticipated Xbox Games Showcase went live earlier this morning and it didn’t disappoint. It featured a plethora of next-gen titles in what Xbox called, “the largest, most creatively diverse lineup in console history.”
As you would imagine, the spine-tingling reveal of Halo: Infinite grabbed most of the headlines, but there were also world premieres of As Dusk Falls, Avowed, Fable, Forza Motorsport and more.

The event kicked off with the undisputed headliner Halo: Infinite. A breathtakingly cinematic introduction was followed by a gameplay demo, which gave fans a taste of combat and the expansive open-world experience. Plus, that grappling hook spotted on Master Chief’s forearm in yesterday’s box art reveal was put to good use.
After the main act followed a suite of official announce trailers, including the interactive family-based drama As Dusk Falls, the medieval-flavoured fantasy Avowed, the magical Fable and the stunningly realistic racing action of Forza Motorsport.
The extensive list of new games coming to the Xbox was rounded off by The Gunk, Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, State of Decay 3, Tetris Effect: Connected, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, CrossfireX, Destiny 2: Beyond Light, Everwild, Grounded, The Medium, The Outer Worlds: Peril on Gorgon, Psychonauts 2 and Tell Me Why.
