Never before seen photographs of Wu-Tang Clan are set to be released in a new book, but you have to be quick, there are only 36 of them.
36 books, 36 chambers, and 36 pieces of Wu-Tang Legacy. Rare photos of hip-hop royalty, Wu-Tang Clan are set to be released in a limited edition book just in time for Christmas.
Take a photographic journey with one of the most influential hip-hop groups in music history. Wu-Tang: Legacy chronicles the rise of the Wu-Tang Clan, from their first recording sessions to the present day, in a large format coffee table book.
Over 300 pages, with photographs captured by Danny Hastings, PROTIM PHOTO, Kyle Christy, and Andy Cantillon, with additional never before seen photos captured by friends and family that have never been seen before.
Only 36 copies of Legacy will be published, making it one of the rarest books in hip-hop. Each book is signed, numbered, sealed, and delivered in a bronze-encrusted black steel chamber designed by sculptor Gethin Jones as a tribute to the 36 chambers.
A single copy of the book is set to be auctioned off at Sotheby’s. RZA has shared “Items dating back hundreds, even thousands of years have graced the floors of Sotheby’s,” “It’s great that in our own lifetime, we were able to create something that will also grace these floors and be shared with the world.”
Mark your diary, Wu-Tang: Legacy will be available for pre-order on Friday, December 16, 2022, at 3 P.M. ET/12 P.M. PT.
