Young Henrys celebrate 7 years of the Newtowner with The Big Tinnie Crack

For seven gorgeous years now, Young Henrys have been blessing our tastebuds with one of their most brilliant brews; the Newtowner. Named after the locale both Young Henrys and Happy Mag call home, it’s become hard to imagine our wacky little suburb without its eponymous beer.

Now, Young Henrys are calling on us all to celebrate the Newtowner’s birthday with the return of The Big Tinnie Crack.

Young Henrys is calling one and all to get down to The Courthouse Hotel on December 12. Join for a good time and an all-in, synchronised Newtowner Tinnie Crack.

Young Henrys owes a lot to the city of Sydney and of course Newtown in particular, being the brewery’s place of community and inspiration. So seven years ago, when the inner city suburb celebrated its 150th anniversary, Young Henrys were dying to brew a unique beer.

Of course, the resulting beer is the Aussie Pale Ale that you know and love; the Newtowner. Using a blend of English and Australian malts and a variety of local hops, this brew packs a punch with all the fruity and bitter flavours you want from a pale ale.

And seven years later, the Newtowner has become a quintessential member of the Young Henrys range. And that is the perfect reason to celebrate.

Young Henrys will be kicking things off at 5pm at the Courthouse Hotel, the very first pub to ever pour the Newtowner. All are welcome and encouraged to get involved for what is set to be a great night. And did we mention that tinnies will be on the house? You betcha!

Get on down the Courthouse Hotel on December 12 for The Big Tinnie Crack. Who knows, maybe you’ll even break a world record.
