After it was revealed that Henry Rollins would be dipping into animation, it looks like Alice Cooper isn’t too far behind.
The loveable shock rocker announced that he will be appearing in the second episode of Amy Poehler’s animated series Duncanville.
Alice Cooper announced his cameo appearance in the upcoming episode of Amy Poehler’s series Duncanville through a recent tweet.
In a tweet announcing his guest appearance, Cooper simply explained, “I’ve been animated!” The series started airing last week on FOX. The basic premise of the show is, “an average kid named Duncan who dreams of making it big without having to wear a suit and tie to do so.” Alice Cooper would, therefore, be a prime example in making it big without wearing a suit. This is however not Cooper’s first cameo, famously appearing as himself in Wayne’s World. We truly aren’t worthy of this man.
In the episode, titled Read Head Redemption, Cooper appears in one of Duncan’s Dad’s flashbacks. Duncanville was created by Poehler alongside Simpsons alums Mike Scully and Julie Thacker Scully.
This all follows Cooper’s recent appearance at the Fire Fight Australia Concert at ANZ Stadium. The concert that took place in front of 75,000 people at ANZ Stadium raised over $9.5 million for bushfire relief. Alice Cooper is also set to rejoin his supergroup Hollywood Vampires alongside Johnny Depp and Joe Perry for a UK tour later this year.
