Iggy Pop has unveiled a new book titled ‘Til Wrong Feels Right, showcasing lyrics from over 100 of the American musician’s songs.
The punk icon’s latest publication hits shelves on September 26 this year, coinciding with the 50th anniversary of The Stooges’ self-titled debut.
Iggy Pop’s new book ‘Til Wrong Feels Right is packed full of lyrics and photographs handpicked from the 72-year-old’s legendary career.
In addition to lyrics, the book will feature exclusive notes, commentary, short essays, and memorabilia guaranteed to rouse all Iggy fans.
The singer-songwriter just finished up a visit to Australia earlier last month, playing Bluesfest with sideshows in Sydney and Melbourne.
The book will be published through Viking Books in full-colour hardback. The synopsis reads: “From fronting the legendary proto-punk band The Stooges to collaborating with an eclectic mix of artists including David Bowie, Debbie Harry, Jarvis Cocker, Death in Vegas, Underworld and Josh Homme, and inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2010, Iggy has proved himself to be one of music’s most iconic, outrageous and enduring music artists.”
Iggy is also set to reissue his sixth LP Zombie Birdhouse on June 28 with an additional bonus track.
