Jane Remover has issued a public ultimatum.
Temper City is a band with one song.
And you probably know that song, at least you will if you spend any substantial amount of time on the internet.
The track, ‘Self Aware’, has amassed over 355 million streams on Spotify as of now, with its chorus geared for virality and the Tik Tok algorithm.
Despite only having one song, the band, who are from Israel, have gained spots on festival lineups including M3F Fest, as well as Austin City Limits.
Jane Remover, who is also on the M3F Fest lineup, has issued an ultimatum to the festival.
On their instagram story today, Jane said to the festival, “yo get that idf band off the lineup or I’m not playing”.
The demand has put M3F Fest in the public eye now, but we will just have to wait and see how the situation unfolds.
