Logitech MX Master Series: Ultimate Workflow Made For Mac

Logitech has released its MX Master Series, which includes mechanical keyboards and mice for mac. These are for the user who takes that tactile feeling seriously.

Using terms like “If you know, you know” and “Once you start, you can’t go back” applies to the Logitech MX Master Series as it’s all about that ergonomic comfort and tactile feeling, and there’s a cult following to these types of computer accessories.

We got our hands on the MX Mechanical Mini keyboard for Mac and the MX Master 3S mouse for Mac and tested them out. Proving that once you go Mac you won’t go back doesn’t apply, these computer accessories find themselves in the curiosity of the Mac user that yearns for that professional feel to get their workflow at a maximum.

The mechanical switches (colours of red, brown and blue) have a cult following, with each colour to the preference of the individual. Red is linear with no bump or click, brown is tactile with a tactile bump and no click, and blue is clicky with a tactile bump and an audible click. People describe — and often debate — which is the best colour.

The MX Mechanical Mini keyboard is based on the brown switch — tactile bump with a quiet click. As well as having customizable backlighting, you can also customize your keyboard, check battery life, change F-key functions, and assign app-specific profiles. A full charge via USB-C on the keyboard gets you 15 days, or if you switch off that fancy backlight (which I probably wouldn’t) you get 10 months!

The MX Master 3S mouse for Mac is a multi-function, multi-connection, ergonomically designed mouse — after hours of use, you’ll not get any RSI or hand injuries. Seriously, we spend so much time on our computers these days. This mouse features quiet clicks, and an 8K DPI track-on-glass sensor. The MagSpeed electromagnetic scrolling is precise enough to stop on a pixel and quick enough to scroll at 1,000 lines per second.

The charge — via USB-C — lasts 70 days on full charge, and if you are out of charge and need to quickly get something done you get 3 hours of use from 1 minute of charge. And if you didn’t know you get a complimentary 1-month Adobe Creative Cloud subscription when you buy a Logitech Master Series device!

The connections on both the keyboard and mouse are exactly as you want as they are fully compatible with macOS, iPadOS and iOS, and you can pair up to 3 Bluetooth devices all with a low energy wireless connection.

If you download and install Logitech Options you can use Logitech Flow, which gives you cross-computer control and file sharing — all by moving your cursor to the edge of the screen and simply copying and pasting between computers without the use of emails or the cloud.

Keeping up with the world and how we treat it, all products are certified carbon neutral, so thanks Logitech — we heart you.
