In support of their upcoming ninth studio album, Radiohead have been confirmed to play three festivals across the globe. A source close to the band has revealed they are planning on playing more festival slots in America and abroad, leaving Aussie fans with fingers crossed that they will be making their way down under for a festival or headline appearance.
As of now, the band has been confirmed to play Swiss festival OpenAir St. Gallen, Barcelona’s Primavera Sound Music Festival and NOS Alive Festival in Portugal. With more dates still to be announced, who knows, maybe they will be one of the headliners announced for Splendour In The Grass 2016.
Although there has been no specific date set for the album release, after establishing the company Dawn Chorus LLP, it is expected that the record could drop any day now after the band took similar actions before the release or two prior albums.
Radiohead’s upcoming appearances will be the first time they have played live together since November 2012, where they took the stage in support of their 2011 album The King Of Limbs.
