Sydney Sweeney accused of racist behaviour by DJ Bella Ferrada

Sydney Sweeney is facing racism accusations after a certain Instagram post. DJ Bella Ferrada shares her take: “All I see are red flags.”

Sydney Sweeney has been getting slammed by fans since posting images and clips from her mum’s 60th birthday party on Instagram over the weekend. As reported in Newsweek, viewers of the post were quick to allege that they spotted party attendees wearing “MAGA-style hats” and “Blue Lives Matter shirts.”

Following viral speculations about the guest’s attire, Sweeney released a statement, urging her fans to “stop making assumptions,” as the “innocent celebration” had no political agenda.

Deciding to add her two cents on the matter, DJ Bella Ferrada chimed in, leaving the following comment under the Euphoria actress’ birthday post: “All I see are red hats and red flags. Girl bye, this explains why you got so scared when my Mexican boyfriend was trying to fix lighting by you at the HCA awards and you freaked out and had your bf come shooo him while he was just doing his job and has no idea who you even are… why were you so scared? It’s giving Karennnn.”

Ferrada didn’t leave it at that, however. The LA-based DJ continued discussing the topic via her own Instagram story, declaring that Sydney’s brother, Trent Sweeney, had blocked her. Reportedly, Trent also began receiving negative remarks regarding the alleged attire worn at the party through his Instagram account, and took the opportunity to clarify that the hats in question actually stated, “Make Sixty Great Again.” See the footage in question posted by Sydney Sweeney below.
