In an interview with Pitchfork, Bob’s Burgers creator Loren Bouchard discusses the hardships of getting together a Bob’s Burgers soundtrack and why it was all worth it in the end.

Bobs Burger’s is set to release a giant box set with over 100 tracks featuring guest appearances from Sarah Silverman, Aziz Ansari and full tracks from The NationalSt. Vincent and more.

Including St. Vincent and weird “Oil Spill” girl, Bob’s Burger creator Loren Bouchard shares his favourite musical moments from the show.

Teaming up with the legendary label Sub Pop, Fox TV series Bob’s Burgers has defied all normal logic with plans to release a 112 track album featuring every song composed for the cartoon, as well as a number of covers from their Bob’s Buskers series.

“After years of negotiating expenses with 20th Century Fox, show creator Loren Bouchard was able to make his diehards’ soundtrack request a reality. ‘Even if there were only a few hundred of them, we really wanted to reward them for caring enough to ask for it,’ he tells Pitchfork.”
