After storming through 2015 with a slew of high profile supports, Aussie Indie rockers The Lulu Raes and Polish Club are heading out on an Australian co-headlining tour in April.
Bringing their inveterate and unique sounds together in a diverse inter-mingling of styles will no doubt be a force to be reckoned with during the tour with both bands pushing their own brand of indie, bluesy rock flavours into the live arena with foreseeably explosive results.
The Lulu Raes have enjoyed a huge 2015 coming to the tour on the back of support tours with legends, Sticky Fingers and Art of Sleeping as well as appearances at both Secret Garden and Festival of the Sun. The lads also built a tower of hype with the release of their killer single Burnout and are back in the studio packing a forthcoming EP with tunes that certainly will make an appearance or two during the double header.
Similarly, Polish Club shredded ear holes in their debut EP last year with standout track Beeping becoming a force of nature both on record and in a live setting. Having supported the likes of Courtney Barnett and Cold Chisel, the lads have racked up ridiculous levels of buzz, not to mention built live experience that will be brought to the table in droves during their April tour.
Don’t miss your chance to check out these two indie-rock juggernauts in the prime on stage this April, kicking off in Sydney on the 8th at Newtown Social Club.
Tour dates:
Friday 15 April – Cats, Adelaide
