Pop stars, assemble: Beyoncé, Taylor Swift & Rihanna reportedly set to embark on stadium tours next year

Three of the biggest pop stars in the world are seemingly preparing for massive stadium tours, with Beyoncé, Taylor Swift and Rihanna all reportedly at work organising shows for 2023.

While none of the stars have officially confirmed their tours, news broke last week that Swift is expected to announce a sprawling run of dates for 2023. An insider told Page Six that the singer-songwriter has “ambitious plans in place” for the tour, and revealed that a few shows have already been booked. The tour would be in support of Midnights, Swift’s tenth studio album set for release on October 21.

Meanwhile, news of Beyoncé’s tour was reported by Hits Double Daily, who likewise claimed that dates have been booked for the pop star’s upcoming world tour. Additional outlets revealed that shows have been scheduled for Europe, the US and Australia, the last of which saw Ticketek establish a waitlist for Beyoncé’s tour last week. Beyoncé’s Australian shows would mark her first time in the country in over a decade. The news comes off the back of Renaissance, the studio album Beyoncé released in July.

Elsewhere, Rhianna is set to make her live performance comeback as part of the Superbowl Halftime Show, after being announced as the coveted headliner last month. That show will mark the singer’s first large-scale live appearance since the 2016 release of her eighth studio album, Anti. While Rhianna’s Superbowl show might not warrant its own stadium tour, her appearance at the sporting event has seen rumours swirl of a potential album, which would be her first in six years.

Naturally, Twitter’s reaction to the reports of stadium tours from three of the world’s most popular artists has been one of clear overexcitement. Peep some of the best reactions below.
