From The Fifth Element soundtrack being translated onto some killer coloured wax to a stunning and innovative bamboo turntable, there’s no doubt we’re being overindulged by vinyl’s surprising comeback.
Although in only one location (for now), the UK’s first Vinyl Festival will be held at Printworks in London this September.
If you live and breath vinyl, try to resist the temptation to attend London’s first two day vinyl festival at Printworks.
There will be over 40 stalls showcasing the latest audio technology and a chance for experts to assess your own collection.
Of course, there will also be 100 stalls from independent label companies selling crates of records.
The event also includes a Q&A sesh with Tim Burgess (The Charlatans), Huey Morgan (Fun Lovin’ Criminals), Edith Bowman (Virgin Radio) and Steve Lamacq (BBC 6 Music) who will each have their own DJ sets.
“The Vinyl Festival celebrates the very best of the format we all love, and is exactly what our readers have been crying out for. We’re incredibly proud to bring you everything from a massive record fair to some of the UK’s finest indie labels and some top headline DJ performances, all under one roof. We couldn’t be more excited to see this dream become a reality,” says editor Ian Peel.
Early bird tickets start from £16 to £70.
Dates:
Saturday 23rd September 2017, 10.30am to 6pm
Sunday 24th September 2017, 10.30am to 5pm
